I was born and raised in District 2, where the weapons and Peacekeepers come from that benefit the Capitol. I'd been in training for the Hunger Games ever since I was young. It turned into the only thing I knew. I never thought that I would be beaten. I was strong but that wasn't enough. I had skills in swordfighting and survival but that wasn't enough. Not enough when faced with a girl named Katniss Everdeen.
